About Moderation Town

Moderation Town is a comedy series about a small Maritime town after the local factory folds and is replaced by an Internet moderation company. Local residents become not-so-internet-savvy content moderators, responsible for filtering the most offensive content off of the Internet.

Danielle Barker

Danielle Barker

Danielle Barker is a Comedian/Actress from small-town Salmon Arm, BC. Heard of it? Didn’t think so.

Currently living in Toronto and lovin’ every minute of it. (Except for when she swallows her gum.)

Danielle secretly records her father giving career advice (Danielle-Get a real job!) and has made a show out of it. (Check out Starvival and Danielle’s other works) Self-promotion? That’s correct.

Bob Mann

Bob Mann

Bob is a Halifax/Dartmouth based stand-up comedian who most recently appeared in Phone Whores, in which he played a devious call center-manager and was denied repeated requests for nude scenes. Bob has also composed musical scores for a number of stage productions. He has fathered many children. Maybe even yours.

He frequently performs with DaPoPo Theatre, and most famously appeared as the hind legs of the title character in “Clifford the Big Red Dog – Live!”. He also understudied the front legs. Karen

Karen Lizotte

Karen is an actress/musician (or actrician) currently based in Halifax. She sings the blues now and then at Bearly’s House of Blues and Ribs, is currently learning the cello, and has performed in plays with Lions’ Den Theatre and Vile Passéist Theatre around the town. Karen has done a bunch of other stuff too, like dinner theatres in NB, NS, and PEI, and she’s toured with Halifax’s DRUM! in Canada and the US. Check out her music side at www.karenlizotte.com.

Ian

Ian Mullan

Ian is located in Halifax, but loves all of Canada equally. Recently, he wrote ‘Sissydude: a dandy rock musical’ with talented local musicians and then cast himself in the lead—he’s vain that way. With all the physical presence of a broom, and the talent of a youtube cat video you never know where you might see him.
